Information about COVID-19

Procedure for patient appointments:

  • With acute pain or problems, it is best to make an appointment in advance
  • Telephone number for appointments: At Dzirciema iela 20 – 67455586, at the Implantology Clinic (Baznīcas iela 31) – 67716870 or 66016820, or electronically on the page Opening Hours of the Doctors
  • Please come for your appointment without accompanying persons. For children - one accompanying person.
  • The body temperature of all patients will be taken at the entrance to the Institute
  • Please come to the Institute wearing a mask
  • Please keep a 2-metre distance inside the Institute
  • Remember to wash and sanitize your hands

You will not be seen by a doctor:

  • If you have any symptoms of an upper respiratory tract infection – rhinitis, cough, elevated body temperature, sore throat, breathing problems – or are feeling unwell
  • If you are required to stay in self-isolation or quarantine*
  • The Institute of Stomatology will neither see patients who within the past 14 days have returned from countries where the 14-day cumulative number of COVID-19 cases per 100,000 exceeds 61,9, as well as countries outside the EU, EEA, or Switzerland
  • The list of these countries is updated by the Latvian Centre for Disease Prevention and Control every Friday and is published on the Centre’s website
  • The Institute will see patients who have been in self-isolation for just 10 days, if they were tested for Covid-19 on day 8 and the result was negative

*Violations of the rules of sanitary hygiene and epidemiological safety are subject to criminal liability under Section 40 of the Criminal Law or to administrative liability within the meaning of Section 42 of the Administrative Violations Code.
