Gum treatment under microscope

Following the worlds tendencies, our periodontologists have learned and now perform in the practice the latest microsurgery methods for solution of different aesthetical and functional gum problems. Since September of 2012, we use the latest dental microscope LEICA M320 F12, which is equipped with LED light, magnification 6.4 – 40 times, and built in HD camera for taking videos or photos during procedures.

In aesthetical periodontal surgery usage of microscope and special microsurgical instruments provides

  • high precision, this way aesthetical results are better – scars are nearly invisible;
  • extra thin thread is used for suturing avoiding inconveniences during period of healing;
  • period of healing lessens, sutures are removed at  2nd – 5th day instead of 7th-10th as previously;
  • post-operative discomfort diminished - less swelling and less pain.

Of course, microsurgical approaches in periodontal aesthetic surgery increases patient`s expenses, but at the same time, saved time and feeling of comfort are priceless.
